San Salvador is the host city for the ITTF 2013 Latin American Champi**hips to be staged from Tuesday 19th to Sunday 24th March 2013; furthermore, it is a most appropriate home.

The capital city of the Central American country of El Salvador, possessing its own international airport, San Salvador is very much a centre for sport.

Additional to hosting the first ever ITTF Junior Circuit tournament to be staged in Central America and now firmly established on the international calendar, San Salvador is noted for staging multi-sport events.

In 1935 and 2002, the city was the home for the Central American and Caribbean Games, whilst in 1977 and 1994 it hosted the Central American Games. Also, it is a possible bid city for the 2019 Pan American Games.

All past events have had one major factor in common, a warm welcome and that is assured for 2013. Melecio Rivera, the President of the El Salvador Table Tennis Federation and a member of the Executive Committee of the International Table Tennis Federation, is a host par excellence.

He will make sure everything is in the best or order.

ITTF 2013 Latin American Champi**hips
The ITTF 2013 Latin American Champi**hips will feature singles, doubles and team events in the senior category plus singles events in the under 21 category.

Maximum Number of Entries
A maximum of four men and four women is accepted from each Latin American association. El Salvador as host association can enter eight men and eight women.

Deadlines
Preliminary entry forms should be submitted by Saturday 2nd February 2013 with final entry forms to be returned by Thursday 14th February 2013.
