    在12月14日的大众汽车2012年世界青少年乒乓球锦标赛中,德国的Benedikt Duda和法国的Antoine Hachard都是反败为胜的。
    Benedikt Duda从第三局才开始恢复状态,击败波兰的Konrad Kulpa(11-7,6-11,8-11,5-11,12-10,16-14,15-13),在第5、6、7局挽回比赛。
    Antoine Hachard
    下半区的比赛显得没有那么激烈,4号种子Asuka Machi击败了匈牙利的Tamas Lakatos(8-11, 11-9, 11-4, 11-9, 9-11, 10-12, 11-3)。

Germany Benedikt Duda and Antoine Hachard of France were the players to perform escapology and recovery in the second round of the Boys?Singles event at the Volkswagen World Junior Champi**hips in Hyderabad on the evening of Friday 14th December 2012.
Benedikt Duda recovered from a three games to one deficit to beat Poland Konrad Kulpa (11-7, 6-11, 8-11, 5-11, 12-10, 16-14, 15-13) saving match point after match point in the fifth, sixth and seventh games.
Meanwhile, Antoine Hachard fought back from a three games to nil deficit to end the hopes of Korea Jang Woojin in an equally tense seven games encounter (5-11, 10-12, 9-11, 11-8, 11-5, 11-6, 11-8).
    No Sleep
Konrad Kulpa may have trouble sleeping tonight; for the Polish teenager it was a case of so near yet so far.
Not only against Benedikt Duda in the Boys?Singles event; also, earlier in day in the Boys?Doubles competition when with colleague, Jakub Dyas he had suffered a narrow defeat.
They extended the powerful Chinese partnership of Fan Shengpeng and Fan Zhendong the full five games distance (11-9, 8-11, 11-7, 10-12, 11-8).
    Lost Close Games
The situation for Antoine Hachard was somewhat different.
In the opening game of his second round Boys?Singles contest he was never really at the races; Jang Woojin was too fast. However, in both the second and third games he held leads only to see them disappear into the Hyderabad night air.
He could have been and arguably he should have been two games to one ahead; it is credit to his mental strength that he recovered to clinch the next three games.
    Maintained Pressure
tried to keep the pressure on him? said Antoine Hachard.  the start of the seventh game I felt he was nervous, he been three-nil ahead and had lost the lead; he was under greater pressure than me.?
Clear thinking and that was no doubt the major reason why Antoine Hachard emerged successful.
    More Comfortable
Two tension packed matches but for the top eight seeds that was not the situation in the second round of the Boys?Singles event.
The Japanese quartet of Yuto Muramatsu, Asuka Sakai, Asuka Machi and Masaki Yoshida all emerged successful as did China Lin Gaoyuan and Fan Zhendong in addition to the French duo of Simon Gauzy and Tristan Flore.
    Top Half of Draw
In the top half of the draw, Yuto Muramatsu, the no.1 seed, beat Korea Lim Jonghoon (11-4, 11-3, 11-6, 11-8), Simon Gauzy, the no.3 seed, defeated Poland Patryk Zatowka (11-6, 11-8, 12-10, 11-2), Fan Zhendong, the no.5 seed, overcame Poland Jakub Dyas (11-5, 11-8, 11-8, 11-9) and Asuka Sakai, the no.8 seed, ended the aspirati** of Hong Kong Chiu Chung Hei (8-11, 5-11, 11-8, 11-7, 11-5, 11-4).
    Lower Half
Comfortable wins but in the lower half of the draw, there was one close duel.
Asuka Machi, the no.4 seed, withstood a spirited effort from Hungary Tamas Lakatos being extended the full distance but in the seventh games was in control (8-11, 11-9, 11-4, 11-9, 9-11, 10-12, 11-3),
    Too Fast
In the remaining three matches, Lin Gaoyuan, the no.2 seed, was too fast for Hong Kong Hung Ka Tak (11-5, 11-5, 4-11, 11-3, 11-5), Tristan Flore, the no.6 seed, proved too c**istent for Brazil Vitor Ishiy (11-8, 11-4, 11-8, 11-9); whilst Masaki Yoshida, the no.7 seed, eventually doused the aspirati** of Chinese Taipei,
    He beat Liao Cheng-Ting (11-7, 11-6, 11-5, 7-11, 9-11, 11-5).
